Pride Month dates back to the Stonewall Riots in Christopher Street (New York) in June 1969, a pivotal moment in the fight for LGBTQIA+ rights. This month serves as a reminder of the progress that has been made and the work that still needs to be done to achieve true equality. It’s time to recognize the contributions of LGBTQIA+ people (I’ll just say Allen Turing at this point) to our society and reflect on how we can create a more inclusive and welcoming environment for all.
